Climate & Capital Media

  • Founder and Editor Peter McKillop established Climate & Capital Media after a career in banking and journalism. He also writes a weekly column on the latest climate issues. He led global communications teams at J.P. Morgan Chase, KKR, UBS, and Bank of America. He was a journalist for 20 years at Newsweek in New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

  • Blair Palese is a Co-Founder and Managing Editor of Climate & Capital Media with a long history of bringing stakeholders together for climate action. With a background in media and communications, her work in advocacy led her to found 350.org Australia more than a decade ago This year, she launched the Climate Capital Forum, a growing network of decarbonizing companies, investors and philanthropists to.advocate for transformative climate finance policy.

  • Executive Editor Barclay Palmer is an award-winning journalist, producer, and executive with experience at CNN, CBS, Bloomberg, Reuters and Newsweek. He created Reuters TV in partnership with Google, and helped launch CNN’s Amanpour and Anderson Cooper 360.

  • Senior Editor Kari Huus is an award-winning journalist and multimedia producer who joined Climate & Capital Media after 25 years of covering Asia for Newsweek, Far Easter Economic Review, and MSNBC. She is a Fullbright Scholar and is fluent in Chinese.

  • Art Director Laura Sucre is a Mexico City-based designer with nine years of international experience working on branding, web and editorial design for a range of corporate clients.

  • Finance Editor John Howell has 40 years of journalism and business experience including at outlets including 3BL Media, Elle, Artforum and Hearst Magazines. He created communications for Calvin Klein, Polo/Ralph Lauren and The Body Shop.

  • Ethan Berg, an Occidental College graduate, is a dedicated climate journalist and Digital Media Research Associate at Climate and Capital Media.

Green Central Banking

  • Jamie Woolley has been editor of Green Central Banking since its launch in 2021. He is a London-based digital campaign and communications expert specialising in climate and environmental issues, and has worked for Greenpeace and the BBC among others.

  • Ingrid Walker, a Green Central Banking contributor since 2023, has a decade’s experience in research writing. An Utrecht-based scholar, Ingrid specializes in transformative justice, green finance, law and systems change. They are an Utrecht University’s Bright Minds scholar and previously worked for Cambridge University and various justice-based NGOs.

  • Moriah Costa has written for Green Central Banking since 2023 and has over a decade of experience writing about banking and finance. She is an award-winning American journalist based in Paris and has written for major international publications, including Reuters, The Guardian, and S&P Global. Having grown up in water-stressed Arizona, she has always had a strong interest in bringing awareness to climate and environmental issues.

  • Katy Lee has been a writer for Green Central Banking since early 2024, focused on our Asia coverage. A Paris-based journalist who has written for major international titles for more than a decade, she is the co-host of The Europeans, an award-winning podcast about Europe which often covers environmental issues.

  • James North has been managing social media for Green Central Banking since its inception in 2021 and has served as the webmaster since 2022. Based in the UK, James is a digital communications specialist and web developer with over 15 years of experience leading digital teams for environmental and human rights organisations in the UK and India, including Greenpeace and Amnesty International.
